The architectural and urban design concept for Knowledge innovation center project is set to preserve the historical heritage of the place with the old design by Architect Oscar Neymar as well as the contemporary design basics which the proposed design achieved according to the below notes: 1-Modularity: the master plan is designed on a constant module for the administrative, housing. support facilities and services building commen-surate with the functional usage for each building and inspired from the architectural module for the existing buildings designed by Oscar Neymar. 2- Consistency: facades Treatment and finishing Material depends on the selection of a few mate-rials to maintain the continuity and be easily captured on Memory. 3-Standardization: All buildings are designed according to the Design fundamentals aspects for each building function including Space Areas. orientation and circulation. 4- Budget: Building and finishing materials is selected upon the availability in the local and international markets and costs a few, such as wood, stone, marble and corrugated sheets, etc. 5-Flexibility: the use of architectural columns grid for masterplan and buildings allows multiple uses in the future as the proposed design gives a high potential in future extension specially for the required part estimated area 30000 square meters. 6- Maintenance: The availability of finishing materials and the functional design gives an advantage to easily maintain the buildings.
