Arch. Ahmed Serry.

Founder · Principal Architect · Educator

Ahmed Serry began his career as a teaching assistant at Helwan University, where he formed the conviction that architecture is an act of composition — a craft that rewards rigour and patience. In 1997 he founded Serry Design International in Cairo.

Across nearly three decades, the practice has grown to more than 2,000 completed projects — banks, headquarters, hotels, mosques, residential compounds and urban masterplans across Egypt and the Middle East. The work integrates seamlessly into its surroundings: designs that embrace their time, honour their history, and reach toward the future.

He has been repeatedly commissioned by Egypt's leading banks, telecoms, hospitality brands and the developers shaping the New Administrative Capital. Beyond the built work, his legacy is a school of practice — generations of designers trained under the same principle: simplify, don't complicate.
